Marc-André Bélanger, LL.B.
Mr. Bélanger is a partner in the tax group specializing in the areas of corporate and international tax. His corporate tax practice includes the tax aspects of mergers and acquisitions, reorganizations, restructuring and financing involving private or publicly-traded corporations. He has also developed a particular expertise in respect of income trusts, including their conversion into corporations. Given his background in Canadian and US taxation, Mr. Bélanger has developed an expertise in international tax, including in the development and implementation of cross-border acqusitions and financing structures, in particular, in the Canada-US context. P. Mario Charpentier, LL.B.

Serge Fournier, LL.B.
Mr. Fournier works on tax cases, usually in collaboration with accounting firms, intervening at all stages of fiscal verification, special inquiries, voluntary disclosures, oppositions and appeals, representations before the Quebec Court, the Tax Court of Canada, the Quebec Court of Appeal, the Federal Court of Appeal as well as disputes regarding tax collection. Timothe Huot, LL.B.
Following his studies in law, Timothé Huot became first an associate and then a partner for 18 years in a pancanadian law firm. He is a tax specialist and has been involved in all the principal aspects of tax law. He has pleaded before the courts in tax litigation matters and in pension surplus reversion cases. He joined BCF in December 2006.
Timothé Huot was involved in the public financing of scientific research and development through tax incentives. He was retained as an expert in Canadian tax law in a major arbitration case of the London Metal Exchange in London, England. He was also special counsel to a private Saudi venture capital firm and, in this capacity, he was active in private financing in the Middle East and in several member countries of the European Community.
